Born The Netherlands in 1943. Since 1967 he lives in Belgium. After retiring from the software industry he is now a full time musician. He studied music with private teachers and at the royal conservatories of Brussels and Liege. As a soloist he performed in Belgium, various other European countries and in the USA. He published three recordings and now shares his time between playing, music research, music engraving, editing and publishing. He regularly contributes to Soundboard and has published about Juan Bermudo, Frank Martin, Francois de Fossa, Agustin Barrios, Oscar Espla and Isaac Albeniz. His editions contain Mazurkas by Chopin, the violin concerto and songs by Fernando Sor, duets by Haydn/de Fossa. In 1995 and 1999 he received the American Music Publishers Association's Paul Revere Award for Graphic Excellence in Music Engraving. |
