Born in 1975 in Wilmington, DE. He received a Masters of Music Degree in Composition at the Peabody Conservatory. Main teachers included Nicholas Maw and Chris Theofanidis. Additional studies with Bruno Amato, and Thomas Benjamin at Peabody, Dan Coleman in NYC, and George Tsontakis at the Aspen Music School. Awarded 2nd prize in the Virginia Carty deLillo Composition Competition and first place in the Osaka Guitar Festa for October Dream. His music has been performed in the Weill Recital Hall of Carnegie Hall, NYC; Spain; Pennsylvania; Omaha, Nebraska; Chicago; Nagoya, Osaka, Sapporo, Japan; and Aspen, Colorado. He now lives in Japan. |
