Ken-ichi EBE (b.1951)

Studied classical guitar with Iwao Suzuki, jazz guitar with Masayuki Takayanagi and Ikuo Shiozaki at Yamaha Nemu Conservatory, and composition/arranging/theory with Masahiko Hayashi and Yu Katayama.
Besides his solo and band careers, his creative activities branch out to publishing of guitar method and collection of guitar arrangements. His arrangements are influenced by the Brazilian harmony, and have published more than 50 collections. His artistic outputs include jazz, rock, Latin, film score, classical, and as well as Brazilian Bossa Nova. Currently he is on the faculty of Yamaha Meguro Center.
